Junk drawer often means chaos. Don’t panic! You can get rid of that clutter just by using things that you have at hand. There is no need to buy containers or drawer organizers, you can recycle things that you have at home or containers that you already bought for other purposes. What about the containers for chewing gums? Here you have a pic of how I organized my junk drawer just by using Trident sphere containers and a labelmaker to identify what I kept on each little container. I also used some two-Sided velchro to keep the cables from the mobile phone chargers organized.

Reducing clutter is basically done by getting rid of those things you don’t use anymore and by creating a home for those items you want to keep. Once each item has a home, you will find them easily, it will help you being organized, as you you will keep things in its proper place.

Regarding the Trident sphere containers, in aquireciclem you have a great idea to create your own christhmas tree. Original, isn’t it?

Spanish version: Recientemente me ha dado por ordenar cosas, aprovechando cajas y envases que pueda tener a mano. En esta ocasión ordené uno de los «cajones desastre» del estudio. Aproveché los envases de chicle para guardar las cosas de pequeño tamaño y utilicé el Dymo para etiquetar y localizar fácilmente lo que guardo en cada envase. También aproveché el velcro de doble cara para organizar los cables de los cargadores de móvil.

Eliminar el «caos» es fácil, deshazte de aquello que no uses y busca un lugar para lo que sí uses. Cada cosa tiene que tener su lugar. Encontrarás todo más fácilmente y te ayudará a mantener el orden ya que cuando lo guardes, lo devolverás a su sitio.
